We really need a sports forum on Newgrounds. If we can have a politics forum, we should be able to have a sports forum. Sports, throughout the history of man has been the great unifier of peoples.

In Europe, in the dark days of the Industrial Revolution, when the gap between rich and poor was widening, sports unified the classes. In this country, at least, sports has had a direct tie in our culture. Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier six years before Brown vs. Board of Education. Black people could play in the major leagues, before colored children could learn in the same school as white children. I don't feel that I need to keep telling you about the importance of sports in society.

Newgrounds is merely a microcosm of society, and there is no doubt a demand for it on the Newgrounds BBS. Join in me in signing a petition to Tom to get one. Okay, I haven't really made a petition, but keep sending him PMs.
